Welcome! My name is Alexa Mikhail, and I’m a journalist based in New York City. As a senior health & wellness reporter for Fortune Magazine, I cover the business of wellness, workplace well-being, mental health, and aging well + longevity. Most recently, my colleague and I exclusively broke the news of the Gates Foundation shutting its doors with a $200 billion bet on global health and humanity. My favorite stories delve into health, happiness, and the unique wellness habits of the world’s most successful people. I’m from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
